6am morning boat trip to scenic Balicasag Island, since the best hours to spot Dolphins is max. 3 hrs. after sunrise. 7:00am arrive at the playground of whales and dolphins. The island is the home of 11 species of whales and dolphins. Search for and watching of whales and dolphins. 10:00am proceed to island hopping- do village tour. The local women on the island of Balicasag prepare picnic lunch-where you can choose your own food freshly cook and enjoy your lunch on the beach. 1:00pm swimming and snorkeling on the lush coral garden in Balicasag Island. One of the country’s richest scuba dive sites. 2pm travel back to Panglao Island.

30-45 minutes away from the mainland of Panglao Island, passing-by other smaller islets Gakang and Puntod. Balicasag Island is one of the country’s richest scuba dive sites. Snorkeling in sanctuary is just one of the activities or one could just explore the island. It has a total land area of 25 hectares, of which 1.5 hectares has been developed into a resort complex operated by PTA together with the Philippine Navy that promotes under-water sports and protects a marine life sanctuary showcasing a model for marine environmental conservation, ecological preservation and tourism
What To Wear and Bring
Wear light clothing with your best swimwear underneath, soft-soled flat shoes or slippers, sun glasses, skin lotion. Bring your camera, snorkeling gears, binoculars, motion sickness pills and extra clothes. You can bring in your breakfast-packed, advice the resort day before so that they can prepare the food early.
